RE-UPHOLSTRY & LOOSE COVERS
Recovering and re-using your existing furniture is another way that Enaid Design can help you be environmentally friendly and possibly help you save money. If you have a piece of furniture you treasure, that is now beginning to look tatty and worn, as long as it has a sturdy hardwood frame, it’s worth re-upholstering - even if it is decades old. Our upholsterer specializes in giving old furniture new life. He can open up the entire piece, replace and re-tie springs, renew fillings or foams and reinforce the frame if necessary. In short, whether it is traditional, antique or modern re-upholstery, he will give you back a piece that is better than new.
If your furniture is still sound, but the fabric is stained or worn or perhaps you just want to update the fabric, loose covers may be the answer. They can be made to fit like a glove and give the appearance of being upholstered. They can also be removed for cleaning, which is always useful when you have children or pets.
